This event has always been a bad idea. Racing on fully rigid bikes when you have spent lots of money buying and servicing bike suspension is kind of dumb. Hosting a bike race right now, even one as small as the Boneshaker, would not be the fun kind …
The Bonesaker will be returning for its third year. In an attempt to find a happy medium between the 2017 Boneshaker's moon-dust-like dryness (in July) and 2018's frigid and torrential downpour (in September) the 2019 edition will take place on June 1st.
