Boneshaker

Postpone-shaker 2020

Hey boneshakers,

This event has always been a bad idea. Racing on fully rigid bikes when you have spent lots of money buying and servicing bike suspension is kind of dumb. Hosting a bike race right now, even one as small as the Boneshaker, would not be the fun kind of dumb. We have to postpone it. Stay tuned. We'll see how the world is doing in July and reschedule the race if we can.

In the meantime if you have wacky ideas for transforming the event into something socially-distant and low-risk we'd love to hear them.

If you're mountain biking these days, take a fully rigid bike out for a spin. It'll remind you to keep things slow and cautious. Rigid bikes save lives... Yeah... Sounds true enough. Right?

Stay healthy. Wash you hands lots. Lubricate your chain sometimes if you want to.
